In these performances, she will reprise her role as Dr. Claire Browne. Thomas decided to leave the programme following the end of the fourth season in order to pursue other creative pursuits and fulfil the terms of her contract. Even after she has left the show permanently, the actress who portrayed the fan-favourite character, Dr. Browne, has said in the past that she would be interested in playing the part again if given the opportunity. While she was working at the San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital in this position, which she did for a total of four years, she was the mentor and confidante of Dr. Shaun Murphy, who was portrayed by Freddie Highmore.

Clair’s departure from The Good Doctor is due to Antonia Thomas’s decision to leave her regular series role, implying that Thomas left the show to pursue other chances. Antonia may no longer be a series regular, but she has said, “I have had chats with Freddie about coming back, and certainly, sure.” Again, she said that for me, if there was more time in the year to be able to film the show and to be able to go out and do some of the other things that I want to explore today, I would do both of those things. She said that I would do both of those things if there was more time. There is the possibility to pay a visit every once in a while, and say hello, to Claire’s abilities and experiences from Guatemala as well as her tales. It is quite improbable that she will make an appearance on the show in any capacity until the fifth season, which will begin filming in May of 2021.
